Wrought Iron Door Specifications

All of our doors are equipped with interior glass panels that open independently from the door. This feature allows for ease of ventilation and cleaning. It also allows you the ability to communicate with someone at your door while still maintaining the security of your home.

At your discretion, your iron door can be injected with a high density foam insulation to assist in maintaining the indoor temperature of your home.

All entries come pre-hung and include the jamb and decorative hinges. They are equipped with 3-5 hinges depending on the overall size and weight of the door. Roller catches are available to further ease the opening and closing mechanics of the door.

Wrought Iron Door Design Process

The creation of your entry begins as you browse through our extensive gallery of over 700 hand-forged iron products and designs

As you plan the entrance to your home consider whether you will need a double or single entry door, transom, sidelight, window covering, balcony, garden gate, courtyard gate, and/or estate gate.

Also consider if you would like to extend the design into the interior of your home to include balcony, wine cellar door, pantry door, or railings.

All of our designs can be utilized for commercial or residential applications and can be modified to meet your exact specifications.

Our representatives are available to work with you, your builder, contractor, or designer to gather technical information and assist in developing your personal design ideas.

A written proposal is generated for your approval to insure accuracy and design specifications. This information is then presented to our Computer Aided Design Department to produce an architectural drawing that serves as the “blueprint” for your personal creation.

When each piece has met your approval, a final CAD drawing is produced and submitted to our blacksmith artisans for creation of your design.

Products are custom made in approximately 8-12 weeks.

All of our products are created in a 70,000 square feet facility located near Monterrey Mexico. We are very selective in choosing only the finest materials for our products. Your entry will be fabricated under the individual specifications and requirements of CAD drawing.

Iron Doors Color Samples

Each iron piece undergoes a 3 step painting process that is truly unique to our line of products. Your iron entrance will first be treated with an electrostatic powder application know as “powder coating”. The product is then baked in an oven of precise temperature to cure the paint.

The second step is a base coat of semi-flat black paint that is applied over the powder coat for added protection and beauty. This finish will assist in the prevention of rust, especially in area of high humidity and areas near salt water.

Finally, a faux finish is applied by hand in a color of your choice.

All of our products are pre-hung, tested and undergo strict quality control inspection.
